Mannai Corporation in collaboration with Hamad Medical Centre (HMC) Bloood Donation Unit conducted a blood donation activity on 16 September 2011 at Mannai Camp in St 34, Doha.
The activity is part of Mannai's corporate social responsibility programme aiming to support social and public awareness programs that give opportunity to contribute for the community by helping save lives through voluntary blood donation.
This event is being held annually between Mannai and Hamad Medical in response to the increasing demand for blood due to the opening of new hospital such as in Wakrah and an increase in Hamad's medical transplant operations that largely needs blood transfusion |
